RESPOND & RECOVER

ORGANISATIONAL RESILIENCE

Anticipating, preparing for and responding to disruption is critical for our clients. We offer advice and support to develop wider crisis management solutions and enhance organisational resilience. By working with us, clients are better equipped to recognise, respond to and recover from a malicious event while maintaining operational effectiveness and ultimately shareholder value.

CONTEXTUAL REVIEW

An initial examination of a client’s operating environment to provide a better understanding of the malicious risks they face.

A contextual review can range from a short open-source review to an in-depth political risk / political violence research project. Contextual reviews are undertaken through the lens of political, economic, sociological, technological, legal and environmental (PESTLE) factors.

BUSINESS CONTINUITY MANAGEMENT & OPERATIONAL RESILIENCE

We identify, understand and report on resilience issues. We do this through reviewing a client’s business continuity management (BCM) and operational resilience (OR) arrangements through business impact assessments; ensuring they are in line with appropriate legislation or standards such as:

• ISO 22301
• ISO 27001
• SYSC 15A.2
• SS2/21

CRISIS PREPARATION AND MANAGEMENT

Working with our clients we ensure that they can continue to operate in the event of any disruptive incident, ensuring plans are tailored to the specific needs and culture of their brand.

Looking at a client’s crisis preparation and management systems we undertake:

• maturity assessments of current systems,
• impact analyses,
• development of corporate policies and plans,
• a definition of responsibilities and accountabilities.

We also deliver training, crisis rehearsal and crisis management exercises and our work in this area is carried out within the context of ISO 22320.

DUTY OF CARE AND TRAVEL RISK MANAGEMENT

Responsible organisations seek reassurance that their people are working in safe and secure environments, be that at a fixed place of work or when travelling domestically or overseas. With threats and risks constantly evolving, duty of care responsibilities are increasingly front of mind across all sectors.

We help clients to understand and manage their duty of care obligations from both a legal and moral standpoint in relation to their domestic and international travel risk management operations.

CAPABILITY NEEDS ASSESSMENT AND TRAINING

Having the right policies, procedures and governance structures in place is a solid foundation for any organisation. But if staff and systems aren’t aligned, then organisations could run into trouble should a malicious incident occur. To ensure a more robust approach, we review our client’s policies and procedures to identify any resilience issues and develop training programmes. We also develop client specific platforms as tools to deliver efficient and effective understanding and analysis.

QUALITY ASSURANCE, DUE DILIGENCE AND GOVERNANCE

We conduct quality assurance and due diligence on potential compliance issues and act as an external auditor to ensure clients are working towards industry best practice.
